Virtual Volunteering

Our schools programme is one of the largest industry-supported employability iniatives in the UK and has trained over 130,000 young people across more than 30% of UK secondary schools. Through our workshops, students develop their skills for work and learn about the range of jobs available in our industry. Volunteering for a workshop has never been easier, and enables us to support thousands more young people with your help.

How to get involved

Our school workshops consist of one-hour webinars with up to four industry professionals. Help students explore career paths and develop employability skills.

As a volunteer, you’ll join virtual events led by professional facilitators. Minimal prep required - we’ll support you with a briefing and rehearsal.

What you’ll do

You’ll answer questions about your job, career journey, and the skills you use. No prep needed - just your insights and enthusiasm.

Typical questions include:

  • What’s a day in your job like?

  • What skills do you use?

  • How did you get into the industry?

  • What advice would you give your younger self?

Don't worry, we'll brief you before your session!
