Official government guidance says that where we can work from home weshould continue to do so, and IGD remains fully supportive of this. For a variety of reasons many IGD colleagues are also keen to have access to an alternative workspace, so we have now reopened the office.
To enable us to prepare for reopening, we have carried out a thorough risk assessment of the entire premises, which you can find here
Following the risk assessment, we have put a series of stringent controls in place based on guidance from UK Government https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus. These measures enable us to open safely and responsibly, ensuring colleagues can return to the office whilst maintaining social distancing and adhering to excellent hygiene standards.
If any colleagues or members of their household display symptoms, of COVID-19 or any other illness, they are required to remain at home and not come into the office.
We will not be permitting external visitors to the IGD office, but this will be subject to regular review.
The maximum capacity for the IGD office will be 56, but initially this will be reduced to 30 to ensure the systems in place are workable. This will be reviewed after two weeks, on 3rd August 2020.
