Overview
Climate change is reshaping commercial reality – understanding net zero is essential to business resilience, security of supply and long-term growth.
Net zero is one of the most significant challenges facing the food system and commercial teams have a critical role to play in making it happen.
Net Zero for Commercial Leaders programme is a blended learning programme designed to help you build a clear, practical understanding of net zero and the agricultural transition, and to apply this thinking to everyday commercial decisions.
You’ll explore what net zero really means for your role, your business and the wider food system. You’ll also learn how commercial leadership can drive meaningful emissions reduction, while supporting long‑term performance and resilience.
Why it matters
Achieving net zero requires a whole‑system approach, with commercial functions playing a pivotal role in shaping sourcing, production and consumption decisions across the value chain.
This programme connects net zero ambitions with real commercial realities.
You’ll explore how emissions reduction can support good growth, reduce risk and strengthen relationships. You will feel more confident to help translate corporate climate commitments into practical action.
Who should attend
This programme is designed for senior commercial leaders (i.e., Directors), including those in roles such as:
Commercial, category, account, sales, trading and procurement leadership
Leaders responsible for shaping commercial strategy and supplier relationships
