Having worked with clients such as Tesco, Mondelez and Metro Inc., Stewart provides practical steps to help them navigate future challenges.

Rhian Thomas
Director of Shopper Insight
Rhian Thomas brings nearly 20 years of research and insight expertise to help companies stay close to the needs of their shoppers and consumers. Having worked in market research for all of her career, her work has translated shopper and market insights into actionable plans for multiple brands.

Lucy Whittaker
Head of Consulting
Lucy leads our capability team, using her commercial experience and passion for solving supplier and retailer challenges. She collaborates with clients to identify the best approaches. Recently, Lucy worked with Greencore and 2Sisters on their commercial excellence programmes and developed the Complete Category Manager and Account Manager programmes.

Adam Jones
Head of Consulting
Adam leads our Insight and Foresight Consulting team, working with retailers and suppliers to bring the outside in and shape their future value equation for shoppers in retailers and away from home outlets. Adam brings over 12 years of commercial experience across sales, category and insight, and has led projects with Kellanova, P&G and Coles.

Mark Walker
Head of Consulting
Mark Walker brings over 20 years of real world commercial and channel expertise, across a variety of commercial, marketing, and digital roles in his time at Tesco and dunnhumby. He’s led on Omnichannel for Unilever globally, working directly with Walmart, Carrefour and others. His unique combination of retail, consulting and supplier experience makes him a go to omnichannel expert within IGD, and the wider industry.

He has over 18 years’ experience, transforming companies such as P&G, Coca-Cola and Musgrave, and was awarded the Top Retail Expert by RETHINK Retail in 2025 and the 2024 RTIH Top 100 Retail Technology Influencer.

Nick Miles has over 20 years’ experience researching grocery retail around the world. He leads the team responsible for IGD’s insight coverage and specialises in helping business understand global and regional trends, channel and retailer strategies, store operations and format development.

Insight Manager
Nicola Knight specialises in providing insight on global strategic developments in the away from home and food-to-go sector for clients such as Heinz, Compass and Greggs. With over 20 years’ experience, she is one of the creators of IGD's away from home market sizing model and unique total consumption view.

Nishel Theophanous has over 20 years’ experience in shopper journeys, and has helped Kellanova, Nestlé and CCEP to influence decision-making in stores. Her research background helps bring the customer voice to the forefront, helping clients to make influential resolutions.
