Turn data into insight that drive good decisions and impact.

Data is everywhere, but insight that truly influences decisions is rare. This course gives you a clear, practical approach to turn complex data into focused, actionable insight. You’ll uncover the real story behind performance, communicate findings that stand up to challenge and influence stakeholders with confidence.

Using real food and grocery examples and IGD’s practical perspective, you’ll see how insight is used, tested and applied across retailers, brands and suppliers. Through hands-on exercises, breakout discussions and interactive tools, you’ll learn how to move beyond reporting and create insight that drives action.

Why it matters

Despite having access to more data than ever, it's easy to struggle with progressing from analysis to action. Without the right approach you risk:

  • Spending too much time reporting numbers instead of interpreting them

  • Confusing observations with real insight

  • Feeling overwhelmed by multiple and sometimes conflicting data sources

  • Missing what is the true driver of performance issues

  • Struggling to communicate a clear point of view to stakeholders

This course gives you a structured and repeatable process for generating insight, so your analysis leads to clarity, confidence and action.
