We know coaching is a skill that’s in high demand – in fact, it’s one of our most asked-for topics. It’s also a technique that requires practice, so in this virtual event you’ll have the chance to share ideas and practice coaching in action in small group discussions.

This event is also a key part of the New Manager Skills course – Part 1 and is focused on helping you to develop your communication skills to maximise your impact.

This interactive event will be led by Sam Redman, founder of Sam Redman Consulting Ltd. With a background in food and consumer goods prior to starting her consultancy, Sam’s mission is to help you experience the lightbulb moment when it becomes clear to you just how much you can achieve.

What you’ll learn

During the session you will:

Explore what coaching is (and isn’t) and the benefits of using a coaching approach, and bust some coaching myths.

Learn a framework that will help you elevate your conversations.

Practice coaching techniques and gain feedback from other new or aspiring managers.

Have an opportunity to ask questions of our expert, Sam Redman from Sam Redman Consulting Ltd.

Why join live?

In our virtual events, you will spend some time being introduced to new skills or topics by an expert, but you’ll also have a unique opportunity to share experiences with peers from across the industry and work through activities in groups. This is especially important if you are in the first stages of managing others, or don’t yet have a team to practice with.

You’ll come away from this event ready to use what you’ve learnt right away, whether that’s practicing a conversation or coming up with new ideas.
