These are extraordinary times. As Covid-19 continues to escalate, now more than ever we need to pull together – as an industry, a community, and as a country.
The Sainsbury’s Trade Briefing is a valuable opportunity to collaborate and discuss how we can work even more closely with our partners. And as we head further into uncharted waters, the need to work in partnership will become ever more crucial.
Every day we are working together with our supplier partners, to keep the supply chain moving and ensure that the British public has access to the food and goods they need. In these highly challenging times this will remain our joint priority, and we want to help supplier teams remain focused on the task.
As a result, and in the light of new UK Government guidance issued on 16 March, we have taken the decision to postpone the Sainsbury’s Trade Briefing from 22 May to a new date of 10 November. The trade briefing will be held at a London venue.
We remain committed to delivering excellent events for you, our supplier community, and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on 10 November. If you have already bought your ticket for this event, your booking will be automatically transferred to the new date and there is nothing further you need to do at this time. If you are interested in buying a ticket or have any further questions about a pre-existing booking, please visit the FAQs
We recognise that these are unprecedented times and would like to thank all our suppliers for the role they are playing, and will continue to play, over the coming weeks and months.
