Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I find out more about the Healthy Eating programme and how to get involved?
To find out more about all areas of the programme and stay up to date with how your organisation can get involved, please sign up to receive Healthy Eating programme updates which will provide more information as the programme develops.
2. How can I get involved with the nutrition labelling communication?
Once IGD has completed the research, it will be producing recommendations which organisations can implement if they wish to. These recommendations will help to support a higher level of shopper engagement with nutritional information. Upon publication of these, if you would like to discuss them further and how they can make an impact on your organisation, then please contact the team on [email protected]
3. How can I get involved with the food provision in the workplace interventions?
In the first year (2016), we will be working with our University partner to conduct several pilots to test various interventions at a few sites.
An interim summary from these initial trials will be published and freely available before looking to the next phase which, dependent upon results, could see more in-depth research in 2017.
4. How can I get involved with the reformulation plans?
If you’re looking for guidance to help develop your own reformulation plans, then there will be an opportunity to inform us about what type of support you are looking for in order to do this. IGD will be issuing a survey asking for your feedback – any suggestions and requests will help develop new resources later in 2016.
If your reformulation plans are more advanced, we would ask you to consider providing us with a case study of some of the work you have been doing and how others could learn from it. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your achievements as well as help others learn from your success.
5. Is this programme just for IGD members?
No, all the work that IGD is carrying out will be made publicly available for companies and organisations outside of IGD membership.
