How sustainable is this event?

IGD and Morrisons have worked to minimise our environmental impact wherever possible.

There will be minimal printed material and the use of recycled, recyclable and bio-degradable products wherever possible.

Carbon impact of events

Virtual events have brought some fantastic benefits in the mission to reduce our carbon footprint. However, as we return to face-to-face, we’ll be putting measures in place to continue our mission in this area:

  • You will have access to our Event App which will provide you with an interactive schedule and map, digital resources and documents.
  • We’ll be using recycled, recyclable, and biodegradable materials wherever possible.
  • Food waste will be kept to a minimum
  • We track the carbon footprint of our events, so we can measure year on year reductions.
  • You can help support this mission by considering the following options:
    • Travelling by public transport to the event.
    • Utilising your time in Town to conduct other meetings around this event.
    • Drop your badge and lanyard back to us at the end of the day, so we can clean and reuse this.
