Alessandra started her career in advertising at JWT Milan, as an apprentice straight out of school and worked in advertising for 12 years in both Italy and the UK.
Alessandra joined Tesco in March 2017, as Group Chief Customer Officer, where she brings together all of the disciplines of marketing, advertising, innovation and insight to create strong and distinctive brand propositions. Above all, she ensures customers are at the heart of everything at Tesco.
Leveraging Tesco’s deep and rich understanding of its customers, provided by the insights from Tesco Clubcard, Alessandra is working to transform Tesco Clubcard into a future looking platform of engagement, serving our customers and suppliers alike.
Prior to Tesco, Alessandra worked for Unilever for over 20 years, holding different board-level positions in marketing and general management in Italy, Central & Eastern Europe and the USA.
She has two grown up children, lives in London and travels around town on a baby-blue Vespa.
