Bringing the Somerfield Stores into the Group

While continuing to oversee one of the largest store refurbishment programmes in UK food retail, the Co-operative Group is now in the process of integrating over 800 Somerfield stores into the store estate. Sean will detail the plans for integrating the store networks, share the early learnings and what this means for the next 12 months.

Delivering a Supply Chain for the Future

Having re-engineered its supply chain over recent years, the CRTG has now developed a modern network of national and regional distribution centres. Trevor will discuss the process of integrating Somerfield’s volumes into the network in the short and medium-term, and the plans which are being put in place to boost capacity in line with future growth plans.

CRTG Charity Supplier Awards Night - 10th September 2009

The CRTG Charity Supplier Awards Dinner will be held after the IGD Trade Briefing, also at the London Hilton Metropole Hotel. This is a black tie event with top-class entertainment plus excellent food and wine.

The 2008 event held in Manchester was a tremendous success with 14 companies winning awards and Grampian and O’Kane were awarded the Supreme Supplier of the Year.
Again this year we will be raising money for the CRTG Charities.
