The month of May is important in the convenience calendar with the launch of the latest findings from the Convenience Tracking Programme (CTP).

Timed to coincide with HIM's Annual Awards Dinner, IGD’s Convenience Seminar 2008 will give you all you need to know on the latest convenience trends, identifying the opportunities and challenges that this may bring, considering;

  • The latest market changes (stores and values)
  • Sector trends across co-operatives, multiples, symbols, independents and forecourts
  • Trading opportunities in the current economic climate
  • Key retailers to watch in the year ahead

HIM will also reveal its latest shopper research findings, based on more than 30,000 interviews this year alone. This will be your first chance to interpret the key findings and to understand how the consumer is shopping UK convenience.

Drawing on extensive research from both a market and shopper perspective, the session will feature senior analysts from IGD and Tom Fender from HIM. Viewpoint from industry will be provided by Jerry Marwood, Managing Director of Spar UK and David Sands, Managing Director of David Sands Ltd.
