Availability & Demand Planning 2008

This conference has now taken place.
See the full list of upcoming IGD conferences & events for the grocery industry here.

Companies need to take a more systematic approach to improving on-shelf availability, aided by better demand planning & forecasting. Failing to plan and collaborate effectively leaves suppliers and retailers vulnerable, as service levels drop, products fail to get to shelf and shoppers switch.

Those companies who are able to work collaboratively - internally and with trading partners - to agree and confirm their requirements and ensure their forecasts are robust and responsive to change will drive business capability, reduce wastage and maximise on-shelf availability.

Providing new insights and innovative solutions to improve service levels, in-store execution and promotional forecasting, IGD’s two-day  Availability & Demand Planning 2008 Conference brings together a breadth of retailers and suppliers from food and non-food categories to showcase initiatives from throughout the supply chain.
