Metro Cash & Carry, one of Germany's largest retailers, opened its 39th outlet in China in Cixi, located in the Zhejiang province, last week.

President of Metro Cash & Carry China, Tino Zeiske, said: "China is a crucial and strategic market for Metro Cash & Carry. Metro Cixi store is our first opening this year, which kicks off a new wave of expansion".
